New Bigfoot footage; Real or Hoax?

The following video was submitted to the Legends Beware on August 6, 2015. It was taken in Union County, Georgia when a man was supposedly investigating his missing livestock.

Latest Reported Champ Sighting

On August first the latest reported sighting of Champ was submitted to Champ Search. Champ Search is a team of people whose goal is to investigate, protect and prove the existence of the mysterious animals in Lake Champlain.

The 4 pictures were taken with an iPad around 7:30pm. They were taken when a woman saw something in the water while waiting for the drawbridge to close after coming off North Hero. The woman noticed a smooth large hump appear and then it slowly disappeared under the water.

New Loch Ness Monster Video?

Every year thousands of people travel to Loch Ness, each in hopes of being the person to find definitive proof of the Loch Ness Monster's existence or non existence. Since the resident of the Loch seems to be a bit shy, even a photo is revered and strikes up controversy over the contents of it.

Connie Ross was just another tourist when she, her daughter and her granddaughter went to Loch Ness and saw what they believe to be Nessie. Although when they first saw the black hump rise up from the water, the 3 were memorized by it and lost the few vital seconds that were perfect for picture taking. Their chance of capturing the notorious Loch Ness Monster were gone in an instant.

Connie said that: “Campbell drove us down to the loch last Tuesday. He stayed in the car park, and my daughter and granddaughter walked down to go round the Castle and then take pictures by the loch-side. It was about 1.30pm in the afternoon and I had my still camera. Reyshell had her tablet and we were taking pictures when Heather pointed out something in the water. She said it looked like a big black belly. We looked and could see this big disturbance quite a way out and this big black object in the middle of it."

The First Preserved Baby Wooly Rhino Ever Discovered Found In Siberia

Academy of Sciences Republic of Sakha
The first pictures of Sasha, a baby wolly rhino who were found in Siberia's Sakha Republic. Experts hope to be able to extract DNA from the wolly rhino which were given to them from the Academy of Scientists in Yakutsk, which is the capital of the Sakha Republic. Sasha was found on the bank of a stream that flows into the Semyulyakh River. Hunter and businessman, Alexander 'Sasha' Banderov and his friend had originally thought it was a reindeer before fully realizing their discovery.

Scientists estimate that Sasha was about 18 months old when she died. It's wool is very well preserved and also an ear, one eye, it's mouth and nostrils are all visible. The remnants of two horns are also visible.

Both Russian and foreign scientists are going to study the remains of the baby rhino. Before it's extinction around 10,000 years ago, the wooly rhino was a common sight around Europe and northern Asia during the Pleistocene era. The wooly rhino lived in Scotland and Spain, all the way to North Korea. They were tough enough to survive the last ice age, but were hunted by early humans which is directly connected to their extinction. Hunting along with the receding of the ice age and hyperdisease ultimately let to their demise.

People flocking to the river Usk

Apparently our famous Loch Ness monster, Nessie, has been spotted near the River Usk early this morning. Although BBC Wales believes it Uskie and not Nessie. What do you think?

Has the Florida skunk ape been caught on video?

Matt M recently sent a video to Bigfoot Evidence that he took in Lettuce Lake Park. Matt originally thought the creature was a bear, but Lettuce Lake Park is a huge Hillsborough County run park where bears normally stay away from. Also the video itself does a good job at convincing the viewer that it is not a bear at all.

Matt wrote to Bigfoot Evidence saying "I was canoeing some of the swamps around Lettuce Lake Park and saw what I thought was a bear. I told a park ranger about it and she said that bears don’t generally get into the swamp and that there were never many sightings in general. I showed her the video and she said she didn’t know what it was. I saw the Fox13 story about the bigfoot a few weeks ago that mayor said Bob Buckhorn made a statement about and thought this might be related in some way. I never put much faith in the old skunk ape legends but when I looked closer I noticed that it had long, swinging arms and moved through very thick swamp with ease. Certainly can’t explain it myself. I didn’t get very close but I hope that this footage can be enlarged.

-Matt"

If it was a person then they would be risking their life walking in this part of Lettuce Lake Park as there are 12 foot alligators and water moccasins all around the area.

Australian Yowie Sighting

The Yowie is pretty much known as Australia's very own Bigfoot. I personally have been on the hunt to find the book The Yowie: In Search of Australia's Bigfoot by Tony Healy and Paul Cropper for awhile now to study and learn more about this creature, but have yet to find myself a copy. Actually I think I'm going to break down and order myself a copy online when I finish with this post!  I hope one day I am able to visit Australia and do some Yowie hunting myself.

The recent sighting was in Brooklyn, New South Wales which is the state of Australia with Queensland above it, Victoria below it, and South Australia stuck to its left with the ocean on it's right. 3 kids were visiting their grandmother when they decided to go for a walk. I'm sure they were surprised when they saw something that looked like the Yowie just 100 meters from the water, on the side of the road with a stick! You can hear their story here:

And if anyone was interested in checking out the book I mentioned above, here's an amazon link to it!

New Type of Owl Discovered!

Dr Manuel Schweizer led a team of ornithologists that has discovered a new species. The new owl, newly named the Desert Tawny Owl, belongs to the earless owl genus, the Strix. Strix hadorami is the official scientific name for this owl, named after the Israeli ornithologist, Hadoram Shirihai.

This owl lives in desert areas of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Jordan, and Yemen. The Desert Tawny Owl likes rocky areas with ravines, lots of cliffs and caves for nesting and that has some vegetation.

After an analysis of the pellets it looks like the diet of strix hadorami is mostly rodents, small insectivores such as shrews, gerbils, mice, etc, arthropods (scorpions, beetles) and geckos.

The Arabian population of these birds seems to be at about 3,000 pairs and in Israel about 200 pairs.

Indisputable Proof of Bigfoot?

Bigfoot has already made headlines at least twice this year and we're only 11 days into it! A man was in northern California and claims to have captured on video what he thinks is Bigfoot. The unidentified man was using what is called a quadcopter. A quidcopter is a type of mini helicopter that is lifted and moved by four rotors. An example of one is shown in the picture below:

http://khq.images.worldnow.com/images/6407083_G.jpg

The photographer claims he was just testing the quadcopter out and wanted to see the video and get ideas for the day of the actual shoot. He let the copter out around Roseville, California and then returned back to his home to review the footage he got. When he saw something explainable that he thought could be Bigfoot, he sent it to a paranormal team to be reviewed. This is the footage he captured below; pay attention to the right 36 seconds in:

If you're interested in watching the video with the paranormal teams commentary and analysis then you can watch that here:

What do you guys think? Bigfoot or some guy walking around in the woods wearing black clothes? It could pretty easily be staged with the photographer behind it all. The 'expert' at the end of the video say's it could be either, so I guess we won't know for sure!

New fish found! 27,000 feet below the surface in the Pacific's Mariana Trench.

Pretty exciting whenever a new discovery is made! We can thank Aberdeen University for this latest and record breaking discovery. The discovery for this fish, which is thought to be a snailfish, sets the record for the deepest depths a fish has been found in the world. It was found at 26,722 feet or 8,145 metres. This snailfish is described by Dr Alan Jamison of Aberdeen University by saying "This really deep fish did not look like anything we had seen before, nor does it look like anything we know of. It is unbelievably fragile, with large wing-like fins and a head resembling a cartoon dog". The snailfish is only a little bit larger than the size an average persons hand and has no eyes.

You can see the snailfish at 1:40 in the video below.

Bigfoot... Bathing?

Starting off the new year in a weird way with this new sighting. Supposedly a retired electrician, John Rodriguez, was out fishing and spotted our furry man beast taking a bath on December 26. This sighting took place near northeast Tampa, Florida on the Hillsborough River. Rodriguez says that he often goes out fishing in this river and brings his camera to take pictures of the local wildlife. He heard a sound of someone (or something?) making its way through the water and turned to see the creature crouching down. Rodriguez is sure that it was not just a man playing a prank in a monster suit and instead some kind of unidentified animal.

Definitely looks like a Photoshop to me! What do you guys think?
